Reminder for competitive parents - Suit deposits are now due. Please submit ASAP.
There is no practice on Saturday Oct. 29th or Sunday Morning Oct 30th as the Blue Fins are hosting a swim meet. Sunday evening 16-20 team and recreation practice will go ahead in the regular slot. We do have some swimmers competing at this meet for the Blue Fins and we are excited to cheer them on!!!
Parent Meeting - our first parent meeting of the season will be held upstairs at the pool on Tuesday Nov. 1st at 7:30pm. Please make an effort to attend as we will be discussing a number of items.
Fundraising Committee - we are looking for volunteers to assist with our Fundraising committee. If you are interested please reach out to Cora Stacy our Fundraising coordinator at coranewman6@yahoo.ca. We'll set up a time to meet in the coming weeks.
Save the Date - Christmas Party is scheduled for Wednesday Dec. 21st at the Lions Club. We know this is a busy time and an off night for the club so we want to get it on your calendars as soon as possible. More information to follow.
Dryland - You will notice some of the dryland times for our competitive swimmers are still showing as TBD. We do have Saturdays booked at the Lions Club starting in November. If this applies to your swimmers your coaches will let your teams know. We will update the schedule and website as we get the information.
LTAD November 20th - We will be hosting our first LTAD meet since 2019! Competitive swimmers this is tentatively scheduled for 7 - 11:30am. We will be looking for parent volunteers for this meet. More information to follow at our parent meeting. For our pre-competitive/rec swimmers, although your swimmers won't be competing this year we will be looking to include them at our meets throughout the year in some capacity. This is an opportunity for them (and yourselves) to learn about the sport and to see the various types of competitions. There may not be a role at every meet but we will do our best to include them at every opportunity.
